Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has revealed he's undergone major surgery and his recovery period could take up to one year.
The actor, 42, known for playing Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap, took to Instagram to let his followers know about his surgery.
Alan shared a snap of himself lying on a bed smiling and giving the camera a thumbs up, writes The Mirror.Alongside the photo, he penned: "Reconstruction surgery." He also wrote: "Well, On Friday I underwent ACL reconstruction surgery.
I have been told the surgery went really well."Speaking about his recovery, he said: "I know I have a long 9-12 months of rehabilitation ahead of me but I'm sure with the support of family and friends I'll get there.
