Coronation Street legend Jimmi Harkishin, famed for his role as Dev Alahan, was left fuming after being wrongly accused of stealing toast on-set by a colleague.

Spilling the beans on their On The Sofa podcast, Jack P Shepherd, alongside Colson Smith and Ben Price, recounted how a script supervisor had informed him that Jimmi had swiped his toast when he wasn't looking, even claiming to have spotted the Weatherfield veteran munching away as he made his exit.

However, in a twist revealed in last week's podcast episode, Jack shared that Jimmi confronted him about the bizarre allegation at work, saying: "I had Dev collar me at work.

He went 'Oy Shepherd' and I went 'what' and he went 'I ain't been nicking no f*****g toast' and I went 'sorry but the script supervisor says you have' and he went 'I know f*****g someone says I have, I haven't, I'm f*****g gluten intolerant, I don't bloody eat any of it.
