Kym Marsh has given an emotional update on her father's incurable cancer. The former Coronation Street star, 47, has previously opened up on how her dad David had been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer.

Recently she revealed that the disease had spread to his spine and that doctors were no longer able to treat him with chemotherapy.

Now, the TV presenter, who rose to fame in pop group Hear'Say in 2001, has taken to social media to give an update on her dad.

She posted a photo to her Instagram stories showing her in a hospital waiting room as she accompanied her father on an appointment.
