Presenter Dáithí Ó Sé has opened up about how he battled in vain to safe his father’s life when he found him unresponsive in bed.
His father, Maidhc Dainín Ó Sé, passed away in August 2013 and the 71-year-old’s death came ‘totally out of the blue’. Dáithí has recently shared how he fought desperately to try and save his father’s life on the morning he passed away.
Speaking to Lisa McHugh on her podcast he said: ‘[It was] totally out of the blue. He had been unwell before that he had been in hospital during the summer and he died in August.
