Greater Manchester Police were called at around 9.25pm last night to reports of a man 'stabbing people' on Moston Lane, it is understood.

A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault. One shop worker told how he saw a group of at least four men arguing near a takeaway shortly after 9pm.
