A nurse who had her leg amputated because of cancer has received the devastating news it has come back. Josette Buenaventura, a former nurse at Salford Royal was shocked to be told she had cancer last spring.

Worried that an operation may leave a scar, she was shocked to discover she would, in fact, have to have her leg amputated. Now, the 27-year-old says she is 'just trying to make the most of her time'. "I am not having the best of luck with my chemotherapy at the moment as I keep getting infections.
