In an incredibly powerful interview on the Late Late Show Westlife’s Shane Filan opened up about how losing both his parents to cancer hit him like a ‘steam train’.
The Irish singer joined Ryan Tubridy in studio for the Daffodil Day special where he spoke bravely about losing his mother Mae and father Peter to cancer just over nine months apart from each other.
He recounted his mother’s brave battle with lung cancer and even revealed that he still goes to call and text his dad regularly.
