ISS tracker: How to see the Space Station as it passes over the UK this week

If you look up into the night sky this week, you may notice a mysterious light flying overhead. Before you worry about an impending alien invasion, thankfully there’s a simple explanation - it’s the International Space Station (ISS)!

The ISS will be visible from the UK four times this week, although not at the most sociable hours. NASA explained: “It needs to be dark where you are and the space station needs to be overhead in order for you to see it. “Since the space station’s orbit takes it all around the globe, it can be passing over you at times when it will not be visible- either in the middle of the day or the middle of the night.
