Costco has become one of the most well-known warehouse stores in the world! Founded in Seattle, Wash., in 1983, the retailer has expanded all across the United States, and has branched out to countries like Australia, Mexico, Canada, China, France, Sweden, Japan and many more.

There are over 800 warehouse locations worldwide. One must during a Costco trip for many is to the café to get one of their quick service food items, from pizza to a hot dog, or even an ice cream sundae. Costco has also become synonymous with it’s low price for a hot dog combo – a quarter pound beef hot dog or polish, and a 20 oz soda – which has been priced at $1.50 since it first opened.

So, will that price ever change? There were rumors of the possibility after CFO Richard Galanti stepped down in March.
