A true crime fan himself Brad admitted to Town and Country that he’s poached ‘a few things over the years,’ from various real-life cases.
His latest series is focused on a terrible crime and how it hits a small town. The writer said: ‘It was really just about how we could have a crime that felt like it could generate the most conflict within a small community.’ The show’s location is heavily inspired by Brad’s lived experience.
