Irvines Bakery of Beith scooped awards across four categories at the prestigious Scottish Baker of the Year 2024/25 Awards in Glasgow.
The baker won the best in Scotland gold award for their potato scone as well as the best in region gold award and national bronze for their toffee empire biscuits.
Irvines also took home a regional silver award for their chocolate orange scone and regional bronze award for their morning roll.
The winning bakery said: "We are absolutely thrilled with our award. It's one thing to have confidence in our products, but to have that validation from both customers and industry experts is truly the icing on the cake." The Scottish Baker of the Year Awards celebrated the finest in Scottish baking, with nearly 600 entries from over 60 bakers across the nation.Lesley Cameron, Chief Executive of Scottish Bakers, who organises the annual event, said: "The level of competition this year was exceptionally high, making each win a significant accomplishment.
