Irish film starring Olivia Colman casting for new ‘break-out’ star

Anything with Olivia Colman in it is destined for five-star reviews and there is a really exciting opportunity for a budding Irish actor.

Joyride is the new Irish film that is slated to start filming in Kerry during the summer which stars The Crown actress and is being directed by Emmy-award winnning director Emer Reynolds.

The film is currently casting for a young male star to appear alongside the Oscar-winner on screen. Joyride follows the story of a woman called Joy, who will be played by Colman, who is a little bit of an ‘odd-ball’ and decides to go on the run with her newborn baby and a boy racer.

The production is currently casting for a young boy between the ages of 11 and 16 to play the part of the 13-year-old boy racer Mully.
