Ireland’s Fittest Family star Davy Fitzgerald has spoken openly about the online abuse he and his father Pat have been the subjected to for a number of years.
The Clare hurling legend told Ryan Tubridy on Friday night’s Late Late Show how ‘tough’ it has been for the pair to put up with the ‘page and pages’ of hurtful comments online.
So serious is the nature of the online comments directed at Pat Fitzgerald, who is Secretary of the Clare county board, that it became the subject of a Garda investigation last year.
