The pandemic continued to wreak havoc on the theatrical business and that usual buzzy market feeling felt notably muted compared to previous years.But that didn’t stop the fledgling outfit from acquiring three of festival’s hottest competition titles: Leox Carax’s Annette, Joachim Trier’s Oscar-nominated The Worst Person in The World and Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s Oscar-winning Drive My Car.
