BirminghamLive talked to the Interior Design Masters star about the BBC One show, charity shop shopping, and her work transforming tat into treasure.

Abi describes her work as "luxecycling" more than interior design. In basic terms, it means reinventing and adding value to an unwanted or pre-loved piece of furniture by turning into something more desirable.

Some of Abi's most popular work projects involve turning dog statues from charity shops into lamps, clothes shop mannequins into vases and printing Dolly Parton's face onto old dinner plates.
