An iconic Manchester pub will once again be at the heart of the action as the new series of Brassic returns. The hit comedy series is back on Sky for its sixth series from tonight (September 26).
Set in the fictional northern town of Hawley, the characters played by the likes of Michelle Keegan, Joe Gilgun and Bronagh Gallagher are often to be found at their local boozer - The Crow's Nest.
And the pub used in the action is a real life venue. As legendary Manchester city centre pub and live music venue The Star & Garter is used as the home of the Brassic hangout. And the quirky interiors of the historic pub, on Fairfield Street opposite Manchester Piccadilly, have long impressed the cast and crew.
