Revealing the sad news, Sinéad’s family said that they were “devastated” to share the news regarding their “beloved Sinéad”.
The singer first shot to fame in 1990 with an emotional rendition of Prince's song, Nothing Compares 2 U.Throughout her 37-year long career, Sinéad secured eight UK Top 40 singles and seven UK Top 40 albums.
Away from her music career, Sinéad had a string of public romances and was married four times. Her first marriage took place when she was 21 years old and she tied the knot with musician John Reynolds.
