Carolyn Giardina Following more than three years in development, the Los Angeles Chargers is officially opening its new $250 million state-of-the-art training facility and corporate headquarters. “The Bolt” encompasses a 150,000-square-foot complex in El Segundo, a few miles from SoFi Stadium, which sits on 14 acres and includes three natural grass practice fields.
The main entrance features a Chargers Walk of Fame, inspired by Hollywood’s famous landmark. Enter the building and the giant atrium is highlighted by a dramatic three-story Samsung ISC Indoor LED video wall.
On one side of the lobby is a dedicated space for press conferences, and screens from partner Samsung provide roughly 250 programmable displays throughout the facility.
The ground floor of the Charger’s new home also features the locker room, equipment room, training & medical space, weight room, hydrotherapy room, recovery room, sauna, steam room, barber’s area, player lounges, and direct access to the practice fields.
