On one of the walls at Sivori’s cafe in Edgeley there are a series of family photos, collages and newspaper clippings. One dates back to April 19, 1950.

Their wedding day at St Francis Church in Gorton, was attended by 500 guests, all who tried to catch a glimpse of the young couple leaving the church.
