Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell said he's planning his entire wedding to fiancée Lauren Silverman all by himself. The 62-year-old has claimed he's ditching using "ghastly" wedding planners so that the big day doesn't end up "out of control" like his 50th birthday celebrations.“I am planning it all, otherwise I know what will happen - there will be 600 people and it'll get out of control, like my 50th birthday party,” he said. However, The Mirror reported a source close to the couple revealing that their nuptials aren't that far away - with the tying of the knot set to take place in London as early as next month. "Simon cannot wait to have Lauren as his wife and didn’t see the point in delaying it," said the insider. "He has taken charge of the planning and the date has been set for June."The ceremony is going to take place in London, with their son Eric, who's eight, front and centre."Naturally, Simon and Lauren are looking forward to coming together with their family and friends.
