Joanne, 41, who played Anna Bates on the TV series, confirmed the break up from her IT consultant husband in an interview with DThe Telegraph Magazine.
Despite the news coming as a surprise to fans, the actress, who also stars in hit ITV series Liar, said the pair have been separated for some time.
