TV's favourite architect, George Clarke, is well-known for transforming other people's houses into dream homes on screen. But when it comes to his own pad, the Channel 4 star lives in a stunning West London abode, after completely transforming it himself.The restoration expert, 50, snapped up a classic 1960s Notting Hill property back in 2015 and completely renovated the sprawling property.
George overhauled the West London home, opting for a modern yet sophisticated look with quirky details in a nod to his expertise in design.
George, who lives at the lavish pad with his wife Katie and his three children from a previous marriage, Emilio, George and Iona, has his own office space overspilled with books.The dedicated room boasting wood throughout, has various shelves fitted on the walls with books, photos and architectural designs filling every space.
Speaking of his love for literature, George previously said: "Books. Reading is one of my escapes. My daughter the other day said, 'Dad, you've got to get rid of some of your books'. "You can't see my coffee table anymore because it's stacked, 10 books high, over the whole thing.
