Diana, known as the Princess of Wales, left behind two young sons - Prince Harry and Prince William, who were ages 12 and 15 at the time.The two Princes were understandably left devastated by their mother's tragic passing, and have continued to honour her legacy over the years.

Diana, who was just 36 years old when she passed, left a net estate of £12,966,022 after inheritance tax of £8,502,330 was deducted.

Her estate was made up of stocks and shares, cash from her divorce settlement, jewellery, dresses and other belongings at her Kensington Palace apartment.
