Ahead of his new talk show launch, former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has been partying Down Under.The opinionated journalist, 56, left British soil to attend Sky New Australia’s 25th anniversary party at the Sydney Opera House.

Piers took to Twitter on Thursday, sharing a snap of himself on Australia’s Today programme. He wrote: “Great to be back on breakfast TV again… even if I did have to fly 10,000 miles to find a morning show that would let me express my opinions!” Piers enjoyed the special treatment en-route to Australia, flying on a $90million private jet owned by News Corp co-chairman Lachlan Murdock.

He captioned his Instagram post: “First ever time in Hawaii, so celebrated with a wild 45-minute 1am Mai Tai-fuelled party on the tarmac in Honolulu en route to Australia.
