It seems as though X Factor alumni and chart-topping musician Olly Murs threw the birthday party to end all birthday parties as he surprised his girlfriend Amelia Tank with a 30th soirée.Though he was spotted hobbling about on crutches at the tropical themed bash he'd thrown, having recently had surgery on his knee, the 37 year old star made sure his beau had a night to remember.

Hosted at the luxurious Down Hall Hotel & Spa on the Hertfordshire-Essex border, a multitude of friendly faces turned up in their beach holiday-themed gear to celebrate Olly's bodybuilding beauty Amelia, who he recently admitted he'd love to settle down with.

Olly took to Instagram to show off a series of sweet snaps of the festivities, with a particular focus on Amelia's spotlight-stealing attire.
