Inside Michelle Keegan's Australia trip filming secret project
ok.co.ukFormer Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan ’s latest on-screen project has been revealed. The 34 year old, who recently sparked rumours she’s returning to Our Girl when she jetted off on an “adventure”, has secured a role in the new six-part series Ten Pound Poms.
Created by the team behind Netflix's Sex Education, the BBC period drama will tell the story of a group of Brits who have swapped post-war Britain for a new life in Australia during the 1950s.
And, according to a source, the upcoming project is said to be a “dream” for Michelle. “Michelle has always had one big dream, which is appearing in a period drama and Ten Pound Poms will let her dip her toe in those past times,” a friend of the star told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column.
