Inspirational fundraiser Michael Josephson MBE hosted his annual ball at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate on Saturday night, smashing his previous £1m record in the process.
He was joined at the event by a host of A List stars this year, including film stars Elizabeth Hurley and Patsy Kensit. The glamorous actresses joined King of the Jungle Christopher Biggins on the top table at the event.
It was as guests settled into their seats for their three course dinner at the Hilton Hotel that the superstar guests hatched their plan for a surprise auction lot - that would go on to raise a huge amount and kickstart the fundraising on the night.
