It's not a regular occurrence for the Princess of Wales to step out on public joint engagements with her father-in-law King Charles but when they do, we are treated to a glimpse of their close bond and special relationship.An example of this was during 2021 when Kate and Charles attended the world premiere of the new James Bond movie alongside Prince William and Camilla at the Royal Albert Hall.The pair were snapped affectionately greeting one another with a kiss on the cheek which according to experts showcases their "rather tight relationship".

It seems that even in the early stages before the pair announced their engagement in 2010, Charles welcomed his future daughter-in-law into the family with open arms.In an interview to mark their engagement, Kate said that Charles had been "very, very welcoming" and "very friendly".

She confessed that she had initially been a bit nervous to meet her future father-in-law but added: "It couldn't have gone easier, really for me."Months after their engagement was announced, Kate and William tied the knot during a grand ceremony in Westminster Abbey in April 2011.Charles proudly watched his eldest son marry Kate and gave a very moving speech about the couple during a champagne reception at Buckingham Palace.According to Hello!
