Ben and Jackie Foden have welcomed the youngest member of the Foden family into the world - Olympia Halcyon Foden. Born two two weeks early via a planned C-section at 12pm on 9 January, the adorable newborn weighed 8lb 3oz and is now little sister to three year old Farrah - who Ben and Jackie became parents to in 2020 - and Aoife, 11, and nine-year-old Tadgh (who Ben shares from his previous marriage with Una Healy).
However, as 39 year old Jackie exclusively opened up to OK!, she told us that the birth itself wasn't plain sailing and there were unfortunately a few complications along the way. "It did and it didn’t," she said when we asked if the birth went as planned. "With Farrah I was in labour for over 24 hours, but it was a lot quicker with Olympia.
Since it was a scheduled c-section, I got blood taken, a spinal tap and then she was out in around 30 minutes." Ben also revealed that Olympia wasn't placed on Jackie right away for skin-to-skin touch, like they did with her firstborn Farrah. "There was just a lot of stuff going on.
Although the birth itself was quick, there were a few complications so they had to sort all of that first," Jackie continued. "My blood pressure kept dropping rapidly and I lost a lot of blood.
