The doting mum-of-three is married to husband and childhood sweetheart Jamie Parrat - whom she first met at the tender age of five.She previously revealed that it wasn't until they were teenagers that they began dating.

Martel previously explained: "I had met Jamie when I started school at five and had kissed him when we were teenagers. "We never really lost touch and we met up every so often with other friends."Eventually, we were both going to a music festival and afterwards I invited him to a party at a friend's house and I suppose you could say we never looked back after that."We ended up living in my flat in London and are now married with three gorgeous sons."From presenting ITV's Lorraine to presenting short films for the One Show, Martel has a highly successful career as an immersive and investigative journalist.However, before her career kicked off, the star trained to be a lawyer at Edinburgh University - soon deciding it wasn't the career path for her, she applied for The Sun's first graduate traineeship.
