And it appears that in anticipation of the potential benefits that a Love Island appearance can bring, Gemma Owen began preparing for the series months before even entering the villa.
The 19 year old, who is the daughter of footballer Michael Owen, launched her own swimwear brand back in February - a move which is very apt given that Love Islanders spend much of their time walking around the villa in bikinis and flip flops.
