During a recent game against Norway, England forward Beth Mead scored her fourth hattrick for her country.The footballing star, 27, hit the ball in the back of the net twice in the first half and once in the second making it her 18th goal under manager Sarina Wiegman in just 16 games.
When she isn’t playing for her country, Beth plays for Arsenal, where she’s been since 2017 using her right foot to score many memorable goals for her team.
While she’s been in the limelight for her time on the pitch, we take a look at what she gets up to off it and how she made her mark… Beth was born in Hinderwell, a village she describes as being “literally in the middle of nowhere in North Yorkshire”.
Her career began when her mum dropped her off to a local football team as a youngster and despite the coach telling her she would be the only girl and it would be “rough”, she loved it.
