Inside Elizabeth Berkley's almost 40-year career as she makes Cobra Kai cameo in final season

Elizabeth Berkley, a well-known face in both TV and films, made a surprise appearance in Cobra Kai, much to the delight of fans.The Netflix Karate Kid spin-off concluded with the final five episodes of season six released on Thursday, February 13.

In season six, episode 13, titled 'Rattled', Chozen Toguchi (played by Yuji Okumoto) was left heartbroken when Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita), his childhood love, developed feelings for someone else.Instead of letting him wallow in self-pity while binge-watching Storage Hunters, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Amanda LaRusso (Courtney Henggeler) arranged a blind date for him with Moon's mum.

However, viewers were taken aback when his date Winnie, a tarot-card reading, crystal healing and Reiki enthusiast, turned out to be none other than actress Elizabeth Berkley.Berkley, now 52, rose to fame as Jessie Spano in the iconic teen sitcom Saved By The Bell on NBC in the US and Nickelodeon in the UK.Known for her outspoken feminist character Jessie, she was part of the main group along with neighbour Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), AC Slater (Mario Lopez) Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) and Screech Powers (Dustin Diamond).

She had an on-and-off relationship with AC and when she returned for the 2020 Saved By the Bell reboot as Bayside High's guidance counsellor, it was revealed that they divorced and had been apart for 30 years.The romance between the duo wasn't extinct for long, leading them to reignite their spark.
