It's been five years since fans last saw Bex Fowler in Walford but the much-loved character, played by Jasmine Armfield, is now set to return to EastEnders for a brief stint.

Following the death of her dad Martin (James Bye) in the Queen Vic explosion, Bex returns to Albert Square to be with her family.

Plenty has happened since Bex exited London to go travelling, from her mum Sonia's (Natalie Cassidy) imprisonment to the arrival of her baby sister Julia.

Actress Jasmine, 26, has shared her excitement over returning to EE, revealing fans will get to see a "more mature" version of Bex this time following her five-year absence.
