Inside Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd’s £1,200-a-night birthday trip in Kent

Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd took a break from the soap world as he and his girlfriend enjoyed a luxurious trip to Kent.

The actor, 34, celebrated his love Hanni Treweek’s 33rd birthday during the trip as the pair camped out in a wigwam that had stunning views.Their luxury accommodation that is reported to cost £1,200 a night overlooked the stunning Kent countryside and came with all of the modcons the pair needed.The star, who plays David Platt on the ITV soap, took his 389,000 Instagram followers with him for the trip that included a spot of lion watching.

Their unique accommodation featured underfloor heating, an outside viewing area to watch goats roaming nearby, and access to a golf buggy to explore the Port Lympne Safari Park and Wild Animal Reserve.

Jack, a Corrie veteran for 20 years, and Hanni, who worked behind the scenes, have been together for four years. Hanni worked in Coronation Street's publicity team and once had a cameo in the ITV soap.
