Chart-topping singer Anne-Marie, known for keeping her personal life under wraps, found herself in the spotlight during the December 2024 rape trial of her husband, rapper Slowthai.The couple, who secretly wed in 2022, have now announced they're expecting their second child together.

Anne-Marie broke the news on social media on Wednesday 19 February, sharing a video where she's seen cradling her baby bump and lip-syncing to her song Don't Panic.

She captioned the post with a simple "Surprise." The pair already share a one year old daughter. Slowthai, whose real name is Tyron Frampton, was acquitted of three counts of rape in 2024 by Oxford Crown Court after more than 10 hours of deliberation.The charges were related to alleged incidents that took place on September 8, 2021.

At the close of last year, Anne-Marie opened up about her challenging year on social media, describing it as "2024 the most beautiful yet hardest year of our lives.
