Alan Carr has managed to grab headlines over the years due to his rocky personal life.The popular UK comedian and TV presenter, known for hosting a range of programmes – including BBC's Interior Design Masters and Amanda And Alan's Italian Job – has not had an easy ride when it comes to love and relationships.

Although his career has been flourishing, on the personal side things have been quite challenging. His three-year marriage ended on a sour note in 2022 after he was together with ex-husband Paul Drayton for more than a decade.The pair decided to go their separate ways during the lockdown period but remained tight-lipped about the specific reasons behind their decision to split.They simply stated that it was a mutual and 'amicable' decision.

Alan opened up about how he found dealing with divorce difficult; however, he confided that his shows and tours provided a therapeutic outlet following the split.

While discussing his Regional Trinket tour on ITV's Good Morning Britain, Alan revealed: "This show had to be rescheduled because of Covid; I just really didn't want to cancel.
