An inquest into the death of a 'loving' and 'caring' teenager who died in a fatal collision in Tameside opened this morning (October 5).
Stuart MacLeod, 17, hit a parked car on his motorcycle shortly after 8pm on Friday September 16 of this year. He died in Salford Royal Hospital on September 18 after spending two days in 'critical care', the court heard.
Police coroners officer Simon Toft said the medical cause of death determined by doctors at Salford Royal Hospital was traumatic brain injury. Coroner Lauren Costello opened the inquest into the 'tragic' death at Stockport Coroners' Court this morning. A full inquest has been set for February 10, 2023.
