A man who wrongfully spentweeks behind bars after a woman made up a false allegation that he raped her has opened up about the severe PTSD he suffers from following his traumatic experience.

Jordan Trengrove was horrified when police arrested him after Ellie Williams, who he had only met once on a night out, told police he had sexually assaulted her at a flat, Manchester Evening News reports.Jordan who was only eighteen-years-old at the time had a 'strong alibi' and protested his innocence but he was remanded into custody and sent to prison to await trial.

Ten weeks later, he was finally released from jail where he was made to share a cell with a paedophile and his charges were dropped after William's lies came to light. The 22-year-old woman has ben convicted of perverting the course of justice which included fabricating a story about a grooming gang drugging and raping young girls and Jordan is finally able to speak about his 'horrible' time in jail as he tries to rebuild his life with his partner and son.

However, after his release, he continued to encounter abuse and came home to his windows smashed in and the word 'rapist' spray painted on his property.Jordan, of Barrow, Cumbria, said he met Williams on a night out for the first time in Manhattan's night club during a night out with friends.
