Bolton Wanderers will be without injured trio Ricardo Santos, Dapo Afolayan and Kyle Dempsey against Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday and are waiting to learn the outcome of scans to see if any of the three players will be able to take to the pitch again this season.
Defender Santos, attacker Afolayan and midfielder Dempsey all came off in the midweek draw at the University of Bolton Stadium against Portsmouth for Wanderers.
Santos did not re-emerge after the break and was replaced by Will Aimson, while Afolayan and Dempsey both came off in the second half, with all three players suffering the same problem. And Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has confirmed that all three players will be out of this Saturday's game, he is hopeful that Afolayan and Dempsey could be back before the end of the campaign, but is not expecting to see Santos again this campaign pending the outcome of scans.
