Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

An injured tortoise was found abandoned in a cardboard box dumped on top of a bin in a Scots village. The reptile was found inside a Hello Fresh box by a concerned pedestrian in Ladybank, Fife, on Friday morning.

The pet was taken to a local veterinary practice where it was found to have a misaligned beak. It is now receiving treatment.

The Scottish SPCA have launched a probe following the discovery, and are asking the public to come forward with information.Inspector, Robyn Gray, said: “We appreciate that vet bills can be a worry and the person who left the tortoise may have intended for them to be found, but this is not the right way to give up an animal if you can no longer care for them.“Thankfully, the tortoise is unharmed and is now at one of our animal rescue and rehoming centres where they will receive the care they need.“This is a fairly unusual and distinctive animal so we are hopeful that someone might recognise them.

If anyone recognises this tortoise, we would ask that they contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”If anyone is concerned about an animal, contact the confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.To support the Scottish SPCA, click here.
