Influencer Dominique Brown has died at the age of 34, with her brother leading tributes to the social media star. Dominique, who had amassed over 18,000 followers on Instagram, was a Disney-inspired influencer and was known to many fans under the name HellooDomo.
As well as using her social media page to show off her amazing theme park outfits, Dominique was the co-creator of BlackGirlDisney alongside fellow influencer Mia Von.The pair set up the account in 2018 after noticing a lack of representation in the Disney-inspired content creation space and built up a community of 18,000 followers over the course of six years. “After coming home from an all girls trip to DisneyWorld, eager to share our adventures, the #blackgirldisney hashtag was created!!,” their website reads. “Like Most things that lack representation, new platforms are created out of a necessity to see yourself.
