The number of first, second, booster and spring booster doses of the Covid vaccination delivered across Greater Manchester has now reached six million.

NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care said the milestone was the result of an ‘incredible and sustained effort’ from staff and volunteers at GP-led venues, pharmacies, hospital hubs and vaccination centres.

Over the span of 19 months, 2.18m first doses, 2.04m second doses, 1.55m booster doses and 209,146 spring boosters have all been delivered within Greater Manchester.
