'Illegal rave' attracts 200 partygoers with 'loud music, lights, lasers and drones'

Around 200 people attended an 'illegal rave' at a beauty spot near Bolton overnight. Officers were called out to Liverpool Castle in Rivington, near Horwich, at 1.18am this morning (October 27).

Lancashire Police says 'loud music, lights, lasers and drones' all disrupted the local environment. Residents living close to the scene reported hearing loud music between midnight and 2am. "When we went up to bed we could hear the drum beat," Vera Yorke, from Horwich, told the Manchester Evening News.
