Il Divo singer Carlos Marín has sadly died in a Manchester hospital after his 'life support machine was turned off', it has been reported.
The Spanish singer, 53, had fallen ill December 7 and was placed in an induced coma at the Manchester Royal Hospital, according to the Daily Mail.
He had reportedly been in the intensive care unit and was intubated due to his illness. Marín’s official cause of death has not yet been announced.
Confirming his death on Twitter, the operatic group said: 'It is with heavy hearts that we are letting you know that our friend and partner, Carlos Marín, has passed away. 'He will be missed by his friends, family and fans.
