Dolly Parton paid tribute to her husband Carl Dean with a touching new song. The country music legend lost her husband at the age of 82 earlier this week.
On Friday (March 7), she unveiled her new song “If You Hadn’t Been There,” which is about their relationship. “I fell in love with Carl Dean when I was 18 years old.
We have spent 60 precious and meaningful years together,” Dolly wrote on Instagram. “Like all great love stories, they never end.
They live on in memory and song.
