That same year, they both appeared in the off-Broadway musical See What I Wanna See. When their paths first crossed, Menzel was still married to her ex-husband, Taye Diggs, with whom she shares son Walker, born in 2009.The coparents separated in 2013 after 10 years of marriage and finalized their divorce the following year.
