Frozen food supermarket Iceland has closed a number of stores in the last few weeks - and now, a further three are set to shut within the next two weeks.
The most recent branch to close was the White Rose Centre, in Rhyl, which shut on Tuesday, with the retail chain blaming the closure on a "continuous decline in business at the store”, the Mirror reports.
Stores also closed in February, including a Bromsgrove site and its Chineham Shopping Centre store in Basingstoke, but there has been no confirmation by the frozen food supermarket as to why these sites had to close. One closure, in the Isle of Wight, is reportedly down to an increase in rent and dwindling in-store sales. Meanwhile, on Bangor, Iceland will close, but their sub-brand, The Food Warehouse, will open in the city the very next day.
