Liverpool legend Ian St John has died, aged 82. The Reds great made 425 appearances for the Anfield giants between 1961 and 1971, plundering 118 goals.
He scored one of the most iconic goals in Liverpool's history as he netted the winner in extra time to secure their first ever FA Cup triumph against Leeds in 1965.
St John was a key part of the side under Bill Shankly which won league titles in 1964 and 1966. He helped fire the Reds to promotion to the the first division in his first season on Merseyside after joining for a then club-record fee of £37,500 from Motherwell.
