Wanderers are interested in signing the Gills man to add to their midfield options. Bolton had an opening bid for the Gills man turned down but have put a second bid in last week, understood to be a six-figure sum. Dempsey is out of contract at Gillingham this summer and this window is the last opportunity the Kent club would be able to get a transfer fee for the midfielder or he would walk away for free later this year, should he not sign a new deal.
